Nanaboozhoo (Greetings in the Name of Ojibwe First Teacher) Indaawemaageniidoog, N’Kaanisiidoog (All my Sisters and Brothers)! Dr. Hopi Martin here again! After listening to my Auntie Jacque during the New Moon, I made a point of taking time to walk out on the land at night to watch her grow through her different phases. Earlier in her cycle this was easy as she was rising fairly early in the evening, but when she reached her fullness there was a huge snowstorm and I only managed to catch a glimpse of her as Grandfather Sun was coming up!
